Oxfordfirst - building bridges through education

Welcome to the Oxfordfirst web site which is designed to help you by providing good reliable information on UK education courses from foundation to MBA, from school to university. It includes advice about applying to study in the UK whether it be for an English language course, an academic university course or a mix of the two. One key point is that using this site can save you money using educational scholarships.

The site is designed to assist anyone who is considering applying to study whether for a short English course, a one year post graduate programme or a full three year course at a UK university. It is for anyone but should be particularly helpful if you are overseas at the moment or are an international student studying in the UK.

I write as an academic who

  • has a wide experience of education at all levels (school, college and university)
  • has written a number of books,
  • has years of consultancy experience,
  • has worked as an examiner in a variety of examinatons
  • founded a university International Office and was its Director for many years,
  • was a university Admissions tutor for many years,
  • is a consultant to various educational institutions,
  • continues to lecture at university,
  • cares passionately that education is the route to success in life.
